Started in 2007, in less than two years, D'Hondt Motorsports (DMS) has grown at an admirable and calculated pace. Adding a piece at a time, the company has built a fleet of brand new NASCAR Nationwide Series Toyota Camry's, as well as, an equally impressive fleet of ARCA RE/MAX Series cars. 

Located in Denver, North Carolina, the DMS shop has put in place all of the equipment it could possibly need to produce the highest quality parts and race cars that not only qualify well, but can win in each of these divisions.

This organization has outstanding and long term relationships with high caliber race teams and leaders at NASCAR's top levels. Eddie D'Hondt serves as the founder of D'Hondt Motorsports. He is considered by many in the Sprint Cup circles to be one of the top general managers, within the last decade. With a keen eye for talent, the ability to develop talent, manage budgets, marketing and managing business relationships with Fortune 500 companies … D'Hondt knows how to be properly prepared at all levels to win NASCAR and ARCA RE/MAX Series races while also meeting the personal and business needs of the folks and entities funding the overall effort. DMS offers up a wealth of experience and comfort - to sponsors, investors and its customers. In addition to his years of experience and knowledge managing NASCAR's top teams at this level, D'Hondt has over ten years of spotting experience spotting for some of NASCAR's most elite Sprint Cup drivers in Bill Elliott, Dale Jarrett and Bobby Labonte. His reputation in the industry is one of winning and loyalty.

Eddie D'Hondt began his career in motorsports on Long Island, New York where he started racing in first the Late Model and then NASCAR's modified division. In 1996, he joined long-time friend Tommy Baldwin at Ranier-Walsh Racing. He then began working for legendary car owner Junie Donlavey's team as mechanic and tire specialist. D'Hondt has an extensive career in NASCAR serving as General Manager for teams, including:  Filmar Racing; Bill Elliott Racing; Evernham Motorsports; Tommy Baldwin Racing and Robert Yates Racing.

The future for DMS is strong. Now staffed with outstanding Sprint Cup experienced personnel in both the performance and business development departments, DMS plans for 2009 are to move toward full time participation in the NASCAR Nationwide Series and in as many events as possible in the ARCA RE/MAX Series. DMS has the ability to race more than one team in each of these divisions.
