Racing Protégé Alli Owens Heads to Victory Lane with National Council of Youth Sports

Female ARCA RE/MAX driver with eyes to the 2010 Nationwide Series serves as national role model

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (May 29, 2009) – D’Hondt Motorsports, LLC (DMS) announced today that their primary driver, Alli Owens of the #19 ElectrifyingCareers.com Toyota in the  ARCA RE/MAX Series, will become the first female race car driver to serve as a spokeswoman for  the National Council of Youth Sports (NCYS). 

One of the most well-respected and largest known organizations in America serving the amateur youth sports/youth serving industry, the NCYS members represent more than 60-million registered participants.  Its members are organizations such as Little League Baseball, Pop Warner Football, US Youth Soccer, Amateur Softball Association, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Amateur Athletic Union, U.S. Lacrosse, U.S. Bowling Congress, and most U.S. Olympic Committee NGBs (national governing bodies) to name a few.
