ARCA RE/MAX Qualifying Cancelled; Owens to Start 28th

Inclement weather in the Long Pond, Pennsylvania, area forced the ARCA RE/MAX Series to cancel practice and qualifying sessions for Saturday’s Pocono 200.  Tomorrow’s starting grid will be set according to current car owner point standings, which will put Alli Owens’ ElectrifyingCareers.com Toyota 28th for the start of the race. 

“I wish we had a chance to qualify,” said Owens.  “I have a great car and I think I could have qualified in the top-10 for sure.  That’s OK, though because I know the ElectrifyingCareers.com car is strong enough to make it to the front. This team has what it takes to get the job done.”

Practice for the Pocono 200 begins at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow, with the green flag starting the race at 1:00 p.m. Race coverage can be seen on SPEED TV.
