ARCA RE/MAX Series Qualifying Cancelled, Owens to start 24th

Brooklyn, MI (June 11, 2009) - For the second week in a row, rain showers washed out ARCA RE/MAX Series qualifying.  The field for the Racing For Wildlife 200 at Michigan International Speedway will be set according owner point standings.  Alli Owens will start 24th.

“We were in the same situation last week and we still ended up having a great race,” said Owens.  “At Pocono, the ElectrifyingCareers.com Toyota started 28th and we finished in the top-10.  I’m confident we can come from the back to the front again.  We’ve got a great car and I have a terrific pit crew.  With Jerry (Pitts, crew chief) and Eddie (D’Hondt, owner and spotter) calling the shots, I know we can find our way into the top-10, hopefully the top-five.”
